Rules for reviewing a book for the AustMS Gazette

If you know of a book that may be of interest to AustMS members, please let tell us about it. If you are happy to review this book, even better.

If you agree to review a book for the Gazette

• we will provide a review copy of this book for you
• you can keep this copy after you have written the review.

But we expect you to

• read the book and write a review
• do this within a reasonable amount of time (to be negotiated when you agree to review the book)

Rules for your review report

• Reviews can be sent in latex or plain text (or Word doc) formats
• Book reviews should be 3-4 pages maximum, using the Gazette latex style files. If you are unsure about the length of your review, we can check for you.
• We take the right to edit your contribution. The edited version will be sent to you prior to publication to allow you to comment.

But, most importantly, we will haunt you if we don't hear from you within the agreed timeframe!!!
